3DoubleTake™ - Motion Capture Data Selection & Budgeting Software
As a motion capture service provider, we needed a way to not only allow our clients to make motion data selections for their project, but to generate an effective and accountable invoicing system based upon those selections as well.
We created 3DoubleTake (pronounced "3D Double Take") to address these and other needs of our studio and clients. In essence, 3DT generates realtime pricing updates of each selection as the client manipulates the inpoints and outpoints of each take. When the client is finished determining the ins and outs for each performer and/or prop, they are presented with a screen that provides a detailed breakdown of the costs associated with take.
Technologically speaking, 3DoubleTake is the only application of its kind in the motion capture industry that provides a complete 3D game engine utilizing Microsoft's DirectX 9.0c technology. This allows the users to see the marker cloud data for the performers and/or props in a 360° 3D environment - utilizing dynamic lighting, shadows, textures, and the ability to display 3D head models within the marker cloud data. Finally, the 3D viewport is completely customizable; the size and color of the marker cloud data, lighting, shadows, etc. are all customizable down to each specific take.

Persona™ - Facial Motion Capture & Keyframe Hybrid Solution

Motus Digital has created a groundbreaking facial animation solution, combining facial motion capture and keyframing in realtime or in post-production. Persona applies the performer's facial performance to a CG character and has a full set of keyframe controls that would make any keyframe artist feel at home - both working harmoniously together and in real-time.
